Danfoss is looking for a skilled Consultant- Manufacturing Delivery to provide strong partnering skills, ensuring that the manufacturing IT needs are delivered in a reliable and smooth process. You will join a team of experienced specialists where you have the freedom to suggest new ideas and implement beneficial solutions which will improve future production capabilities. In this role you will conduct Manufacturing IT activities within the factory and be responsible for manufacturing applications and systems, e.g. MES.

- Maintaining and operating manufacturing IT application systems to provide stable and reliable productions and resolving manufacturing system related issues.
- Defining and implementing the best IT solutions for manufacturing setup.
- Providing expertise and application management including administering, monitoring, developing, installing, configuring upgrading and maintaining manufacturing applications to keep them in a usable state and to ensure that they are correct, consistent and available at all required times.
- Providing support and development of manufacturing services to enable stable operation and ensure that the application interfaces support production processes.
- Being a key technical resource for projects delivering new or upgraded services.
Background and skills
To be considered for this role, you should hold a BSc. in Computer Science, Information Technology, Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent, plus at least 3-5 years of working experience from a manufacturing/logistics environment within complex IT applications management and business processes. Preferably you are familiar with a MES platform (SAP). Furthermore, you must have good skills in applications management, delivery and support. In addition, the qualified candidate will:

- Be experienced and knowledgeable in manufacturing execution systems, lean manufacturing, digital plants, computer-integrated manufacturing and manufacturing operations management.
- Have experience with SAP ME & MII (SAP Manufacturing Execution solution development).
- Have experience in SQL Databases- writing and executing queries.
- Be self-driven and have a structured way of working with strong analytical capacity.
- Possess good communication and documentation skills.
- Have the ability to work well in a team.
- Be fluent in English - written and spoken.
