Job Description

We are seeking for a crafty maintenance technician to join our company. This position requires you to maintain the functionality of the resort and the hotel properties, as well as the machinery.

Maintenance Technician responsibilities are:

• Respond and attend to guest repair requests
• Inspect tools, equipment, and machines
• Maintain an equipment inventory and requests parts and supplies as needed.
• Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures
• Report any maintenance problems, possible hazards or accidents
• Perform basic repair and troubleshooting on all types of equipment, plumbing, electric, vehicles, and any other equipment that can be found in the resort facilities.
• Inspects the rooms, main buildings, and sauna for needed and preventive maintenance.
• Report completed repairs and elements that need follow-up
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by your supervisor.

Maintenance Technician requirements are:

• Knowledge about air conditioning, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, vehicles, and/or general building.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects that require heavy lifting or movement tasks.
• Ability to work outdoors for long periods of time, darkness and under very low temperatures
• Valid B drivers' license

It would be beneficial for a Maintenance Technician to:

• Experience on the field
• Adaptability and flexibility
• Excellent customer service skills
• Have Wilderness Guide Experience
• Other types of driver's license

Pay, duration and benefits:

• Minimum 90 working hours per 3 weeks period.
• Starting in November and until the end of March.
• Hourly pay negotiated in an interview, according to knowledge and experience
• Other benefits according to the collective labor agreement.
• If necessary, the resort provides accommodation in a shared room for €200,00/month
