Talent is a strategic pillar and a key area to succeed with our business and strategy. We are now looking for a Talent Acquisition Partner to join our team! As a Talent Acquisition Partner, you will work together with other motivated and experienced HR and business professionals in a global environment. The position is based in Vaasa, Finland. In your role you will be responsible to support hiring managers in the end to end recruitment process for roles across the Power Grids business in Finland. You will play a key role in shaping Power Grids future organization by collaborating with managers, HR Business Partners and Global Business Service Centers across the company. You will also work closely with our Talent Management, Learning & Development and Employer Branding colleagues to drive and support other initiatives that drive business results.

Your responsibilities

    Identify short-term and long-term gaps in the talent demand/supply. Clarify the business need through kick-off meeting with the hiring manager. Based upon identified profile define the recruitment strategy and manage the process with relevant stakeholders. Manage communication with candidates incl. process overview, interview, setting expectations, offer discussions, etc. Promoting ABB Power Grids as employer of choice in relevant forums (job fairs, student & professional events, social media). Maintain accurate documentation on all channels, candidates, searches, interactions, etc. Advise business on solutions to talent challenges. This role gives you a large network within ABB Power Grids, the opportunity to get to know different businesses and have a lot of interaction with people from all over the world.

Your background

    You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or similar. You have experience of full life cycle recruitment, preferably from a similar kind of business. Knowledge of local legislation regarding recruitment and employment requirements, as well as knowledge of privacy laws are important. Excellent command in Finnish and English are a must, both written and spoken. Additional language skills are considered a plus. You have excellent customer-and service orientation and are strong in communication. Flexibility, self-motivation, determination and the ability to work independently are also important skills. You have good conceptual and analytical thinking as well as good advising skills. This role also puts high demands on you being structured and being able to work effectively with several processes at once.
