I’m Jussi Silvennoinen and I work for my 5-member team. Together we develop a platform that is integral for the future of Telia IT services. This platform provides a foundation for a multitude of layered services designed to solve customer challenges and enable growth. We operate in both hardware and software levels. The team is embarking on a great voyage. We are going to bring our platform and services available to all of Nordics and Baltics. We cannot achieve our goals alone, we need help. Is it you we are looking for?

YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE?

We need a DevOps engineer to maintain and develop our ability to deploy hardware and software assets. You will own the infrastructure-as-code toolset and CI/CD pipeline. Our monitoring and problem prevention abilities need improvement. Maintaining compliance towards information security principles will make us smile. The role is flexible, we can tailor it to your experience and passion. Your primary location will be our brand new and modern office at Tripla (Helsinki), where we will be moving this spring. Other locations are negotiable.

We’re passionate about what we do. Sometimes we’re loud. We’re a technology development team that creates value, not just create code that makes lights blink in the datacenter for our own amusement.

WHO ARE YOU?

You have a few years of work experience with Linux and open-source software, perhaps as a system administrator. You can communicate in English, not just tech talk but also express yourself and how you feel. You want to improve the world around you. You’re not afraid to try out new things.

Reading and improving existing code must be familiar to you. You can engage in problem solving and prevention simultaneously. You can identify practices that are no longer serving their purpose and must be changed or abolished. You are productive and happy working both by yourself and with others.
