Who you are

You’re an experienced leader who is high energy and high empathy, ready to build and scale the organization responsible for our most important asset – our people.

Experience:

• Progressive HR or People Ops leadership experience, ideally within technology industry and growth companies.
• Track record fostering a culture of high performance and successfully tying team performance to business results.
• You are an experienced manager with a track record of leading proactive people teams to suss out problem areas and identify solutions that can be implemented on a company wide basis.

Strengths:

• Leadership skills: confident communicator with ability to represent people matters in leadership team, to board of directors, and throughout company. 
• Championing culture: Develop a shared sense of values for a growth/performance culture in both managers and employees.
• Being proactive: Identify and propose initiatives to keep a fast growing company on track.
• Leading teams: Build and run a team of managers (Recruiting, HR, Office).
• Delivering results: Ability to drive projects from start to finish and deliver impactful results.

What you’ll do

You are responsible for defining Yousician’s talent strategy and running our people operations that allow us to accomplish our mission.

• Lead people operations for our globally distributed offices (Helsinki & New York) and all areas of Yousician’s people team (4 people at present): People Operations, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, and Workplace. 
• Executive Coaching: help guide new management team into high performing unit.
• Own and drive compensation, benefits, performance management, talent recruitment, employer branding, internal communications, leadership development and workplace ops. 
• Identify new initiatives to help the company reach growth plans and mission: e.g. manager development and bench planning.
