As a Senior Developer in Unity Monetization Labs, you will work in a multidisciplinary team (made up of Software Developers, Designers, Data scientists and Product managers) to define and implement features for future Unity products. You will get to work closely together with our early adopter clients, typically mobile games studios to help them optimize system design and enable rapid prototyping with meaningful feedback loops.  This will directly impact the speed at which they can develop and enable game designers to optimise their time most effectively.  

You will partner with various different Unity R&D teams across the world.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with design and product team to build rapid prototypes but also ensure high-quality delivery of the end product
• Define the work required to bring prototypes and research up to full production 
• Build UIs and backend services for new product ideas
• Create the architecture for how data, machine learning and simulations can serve the game design process 

 Requirements

• Ability to quickly build complex products from scratch, balancing efficiency, simplicity and maintainability
• Excellent coding skills in JavaScript, e.g. React and Node.js
• C++ or C# skills
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and tasks
• You will be required to drive your projects in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of self-motivation and direction.

• Experience in extending Unity editor or experience in shipping games built with Unity
• Understanding of game systems and economy design
