Product Owner, ServiceNow

About the role

High-quality customer experience cannot be achieved without quality services. Our Service Integration and Support unit ensures high quality services. Our team goal is enabling efficient and reliable tools and processes for development tribes in OP community. For us success looks like good customer satisfaction and zero down time in our critical services. We aim digital and automated service delivery model with high reliability. 

As a Product Owner you will lead OP’s ServiceNow development and support at group level. You understand and prioritize customer needs and prioritize to make it work for the team to maximize business and customer value. You are actively looking for the optimal solutions to add customer value. You are breaking down the overall vision into objectives and smaller actionable items in the backlog. Together with the team, you are prioritizing the backlog, planning and running development sprints. 

This is a senior level role with the emphasis on team management and subcontractor management. You are responsible of dependency management, removing obstacles, approving team deliverables and resolving issues coming out of retros. As a product owner you are responsible for being the voice of the customer understanding the costs and benefits involved as you make the final call on the priorities. 

What you need to succeed


- You are IT and service management professional with several years of experience in ServiceNow development 
- You have been building ServiceNow capabilities of a large organization to the next level in the role of Product Owner, Product Manager, Developer, Architect, Consultant etc.
- You have in-depth experience in ITIL practices and agile software development
- You have very good communications and interpersonal skills inside and outside the team
- You know how to lead highly skillful software professionals and have ability to get people to understand complicated technical matters.
- You can communicate the bigger picture, but also go into specifics and write specific descriptions (e.g., epics, features or user stories) if necessary.
- You speak and write in English and if you can manage with Finnish, it’s a plus.
