Senior Analyst, Global Analytics & Insights 

Location: Helsinki, Finland

EA’s Tracktwenty is the developer of the hugely successful mobile title SimCity BuildIt. To date SimCity BuildIt has been played by more than 100 million gamers around the world and received multiple awards, including the Best of Apple. As a Senior Analyst with TrackTwenty, you’ll be handed the keys to massive volumes of granular player behavioral data and responsible for deriving insights that meaningfully inform game design, feature prioritization, and product development.  Key responsibilities

  • Conduct proactive in-depth analysis and modelling to uncover hidden opportunities for product improvement; communicate insights to product, business and management teams
  • Design and analyse A/B tests to help optimize product performance and guide development strategy
  • Build, maintain and evangelize cutting-edge behavioral models; drive improvement in existing methodologies, systems and processes
  • Be a strong contributor in our team’s data democratization and education effort: teach power users how to use dashboards and access data. Help those who are less familiar understand the right questions to ask, and how they can better use data to inform their decision-making. Encourage all stakeholders to adopt hypothesis-driven thinking
  • Serve as a go-to expert for quantitative methodology, implementation and application; provide assistance to other members of the group.

Qualifications & required experience

  • Strong work experience in a similar role at a top gaming, internet, technology, or consulting company with a focus on users and user experience
  • Passion for games and data
  • Strong foundation in math; deep statistical knowledge including an understanding of probability, correlation, regression, and classification. Understanding and/or experience with machine learning and other AI methodologies a plus. 
  • A lifelong learner w/ high level of comfort & enjoyment working in both individual and team settings with excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Statistical programming languages (R, Python)
  • Data Visualization (Preferred: Redash, Tableau, Dundass, R-Shiny)
  • Advanced SQL
  • Knowledge of Data Processing tools (redshift, snowflake, Hadoop/Hive)
  • Linux scripting experience with python, bash, etc. experience preferred
  • Advanced degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, computer science or similar technical field required.
