My name is Sami Sirkiä and I am leading Systems & Platforms team of experts. My team has some of the most talented professionals of different expertise areas. Our main focus is to plan, develop and maintain system lifecycles on our responsibility areas. Together we are looking for a Data Warehouse Engineer to join our team. Your office location will be preferably in Jyväskylä office or in our brand new and modern office at Tripla Helsinki, where we will be moving this spring.

YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE?

In the Data Warehouse Engineer role, you will be responsible for Telia Inmics-Nebula’s Data Warehousing related systems stack’s lifecycle maintenance and development tasks. You will be working together with Internal Product Owners, Service Managers, Data Specialists, Data Scientists, Software Developer,s and BI Specialists to support our Data related projects. Your daily routines might contain system support tasks for data area stakeholders, configuring new ETL logic rules in systems, consulting projects in Your expertise area or just debugging enterprise-wide data transactions together with Your colleagues.

WHO ARE YOU?

You are a seasoned professional in Data Warehousing related systems. You have expertise in Microsoft SQL, SSIS and DBA role experience. You might also have experiences with other commercial or open-source databases. You communicate fluently in Finnish and English.

Our Ideal Candidate Has:

• Degree in ICT related area or equivalent professional knowledge obtained
• Experience working in DBA role
• Expert-level knowledge about Microsoft SQL and SSIS
• Expert-level knowledge about SQL language
• Experiences working both on-premises and cloud-based system architecture
• Data Warehousing experience preferably with Microsoft products

We Value Experience in The Following Topics 

• BI-tools knowledge like MS Power BI, Click Sense, etc.
• Sysadmin role experiences preferably with Microsoft products
• Knowledge about C# is plus
• Generic scripting knowledge is plus
• ITIL based processes knowledge
• Working with REST-APIs or similar
• Microsoft and other certificates are pluses
