We are now looking for a

Product Owner

to lead our Agile E2E Data Flow Team within the 24/7 Connected Services Tribe in our globally biggest R&D in Hyvinkää, Finland.

The 24/7 Connected Services Tribe is responsible for developing and operating the value-added services for our maintenance customers. The intelligent 24/7 Connected Services offer for our customers improved safety, full transparency and ease of mind, because if something would happen, we’d already know. 24/7 Connected Services are in the core strategy being in the People Flow Business. The 24/7 Connected Services development work has been organized in independent, empowered product teams responsible for the defined customer value. Each team consists of a Product Owner, Technical Lead / Scrum Master as well as team members, whose skill set depends on the customer value team is responsible for. Typically, there are Cloud SW Developers, Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Service / UX Designers to name a few. Teams are responsible for both developing and operating their products over the whole lifetime. DevOps, continuous integration and deployment  is in the core of our way of working to make sure we can provide quickly and constantly value for our customers.

The mission of E2E Data Flow product team is to operate and further develop the E2E data flow from equipment through connectivity and cloud applications all the way to the maintenance technicians, customers and KONE people. Developing practices and monitoring capabilities, troubleshooting problems, identifying actions for Front Lines as well as developing the data delivery platform are key focus areas. The north start of your work is to ensure smooth, reliable and fast E2E data flow and related visibility so that the service just works and provides additional value for our customers and KONE colleagues.

This role provides an excellent opportunity to be developing the KONE’s business globally. 24/7 Connected Services is a service for all business lines and requires collaborative work across different development teams, area organizations and business lines. Interest in building a global network will be an asset in this role. By incorporating and developing understanding of customer needs that span diverse geographies and market segments this role supports the success of KONE’s Global Connected Services business.

Highlights of the responsibilities

Take the responsibility of the E2E Data Flow team’s deliverables and customer value. Building and managing the development roadmap and priorities for the team. Leading and prioritizing the troubleshooting actions and collaborating with area organizations to execute the actions. Development of the data flow functionality and applications in the 24/7 Connected Services platform.

Building a world class backlog for the team to make sure the development team has right focus to provide value for customers. You will be in central role of the team, but you can not succeed alone. Hence close collaboration with Technical Lead and scrum teams and other Product Owners is critical. You will also ensure that the E2E visibility on service health is up to date through monitoring, dashboards and automated testing. Frequent and clear communication to all stakeholders is a foundation to be successful in this role.

What do we expect from you

We want you to succeed and enjoy your work. Hence preferably you have a strong experience in Product Owner work in a data driven services running on the public cloud platforms. You live and breath customer value and customer understanding and are willing to put your hands dirty in ensuring that the data flow from equipment (elevators, escalators, building doors) to the actual users is continuously on high level. You will be surrounded by a team of versatile technical experts, but you yourself also understand technical concepts and you enjoy analyzing data to understand the needed actions and priorities. You always have the big picture in mind. You are an autonomous worker and are willing to put your skin in the game. Product Owner is a lot about communicating so one of your strengths is clear and systematic way of communicating to all stakeholders and team members. You will also utilize this in creating the vision and priorities for the team.
