We are looking for a Senior Application Manager, Civil to our Technical Sales Support team. As a Senior Application Manager, Civil you will take a leading role in providing advanced technical sales support for the Sales & Proposal teams including installation costing estimates, sub-contracting activities and also support developments of new concepts and maintain solutions from civil and marine civil discipline.

In this position you will report to the General Manager, Technical Sales Support. Location for this position is Vaasa, Finland. 

Responsibilities

• Support Sales, Proposal Teams and Project Management in complex technical civil matters
• Evaluate and support in developing competitive sales proposals together with the Proposal Teams
• Evaluate and mitigate technical and costing risks
• Proactively develop own and teams’ technical competences
• Ensure and strive for minimal cost deviations between sales budget and actual costs
• Give support for development of sales documentation
• Calculating installation cost estimates
• Actively evaluate sub-contractors and their offers
• Participate in customer/sub-contractor meetings when needed
• Tender reviews, risk management and requirement clarification together with Proposal teams

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering
• + 10 years working experience in civil engineering and construction activities
• Marine civil competence and experience is seen as an advantage
• Civil construction site experience is seen as an advantage
• Good written and oral skills in English as well as Spanish language
• Entrepreneurial attitude with customer in focus
• Broad business perspective and business minded understanding
• Good analytical skills, as well as creative thinking and problem-solving skills
• Experienced from working within matrix teams and international environment
