Integration Developer / Electronic Business Messages Standards Expert

ABOUT THE JOB:

Are you really good at understanding all the ins and the out of standards for electronic business messages? The different standards and formats.  Understanding how to move data cross standard? Passionate about using a canonical format, and not do 1 to 1 mappings?
Do you want to be responsible for adding and maintaining capabilities to receive and deliver data from all the major electronic data standard?
Are you great at designing, creating, testing, debugging and maintaining standard mappings? 

All this is to be done in our tool of choice which is Webmethods.

WHAT WE WOULD LIKE FROM YOU?

We are looking for passionate candidates, who have ambitions and also what it takes to achieve them. You enjoy working in teams and have a proactive achiever’s mindset: you are driven to find new ways to make an impact and bring value to customers. You are also eager to further develop your competencies and knowledge, and to keep your technical toolkit up to date.

In your application we will be browsing:

• Strong Mapping skills. (Electronic business document conversion from one format to another format)
• Experience in maintaining a canonical format for several message types.
• Interest in solution design over doing a customer project.
• Programming experience, in 1 or more programming languages. For example Webmethods Flow, and another language like Javascript.
• Experience / knowledge of Network protocols, REST, EDI (XML, EDIFACT, SFTP, AS2/AS3/AS4), MySQL/SQL Server, JMS, Web Services
• Experience with Agile methodologies including Test Driven Development, SCRUM, user story processes, and continuous integration and delivery (DevOps).
• Good understanding of the principles of ESB, SOA, Event-Based programming.
• Experience in git or another Version Controlling system.
• Co-ordinate development with offshore team to establish user needs, technical design requirements, and analyze and resolve issues related to functionality and performance issues.
• More than 3 years experience of the above
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant area'
• Knowledge of testing (all our developers help out with creating automated tests)
• Good verbal and written English skills, due to the distributed team.
• Optional: WebMethods 9.0+ experience.
