We are now looking for a Procure to Pay Solution Expert to join our Sourcing Operations team. The position is permanent and located in Tampere, Finland.

What you’ll do

  • Act as one of the global key contacts for Procure to Pay area and provide purchase invoice management expertise in the upcoming project rollouts related to Basware P2P Invoice Management solution implementation
  • Give technical and process support in the Basware P2P Invoice Management solution area globally including the needed training
  • Participate in business process design reviews, conduct system and user acceptance testing in defined projects
  • Contribute to invoice management business process and its solution development projects in the area of Basware P2P Invoice Management
  • Provide subject matter expertise for business ERP projects, migrations, integrations and testing
  • Participate in defining, developing and ensuring the implementation of invoice handling policies, solutions and ways of working around Basware P2P Invoice Management

Who you are

  • You have at least a Bachelor’s degree or other relevant professional qualification in related area
  • You have at least 5 years of work experience in invoice management area, including process development
  • You have strong end-to-end Procure to Pay process understanding
  • You have strong knowledge of Basware P2P system and its development with focus on Invoice Management
  • You have experience in Basware P2P Invoice Management implementation projects, especially related to SAP integrations
  • You have strong knowledge of SAP MM and FICO (R/3 and/or S/4)
  • Experience from working in a global organization is considered an asset
  • You are proactive, service-oriented person with strong communication and influencing skills
  • You have analytical skills and attention to details
  • You have an organized and controlled way of working, capability to ensure compliance to internal and external requirements and you are able to identify risks in your own area
  • You have collaboration and team-working skills with flexible and positive attitude towards changes
  • You have self-management skills and are not afraid to take initiative and challenge the status quo
  • You have proven process development competences in invoice handling area and hands-on skills to drive improvements
  • You are fluent in English. Additionally, skills in other languages relevant in UPM major markets are considered an asset (e.g. German and Finnish)
