As an Appication Engineer you will analyze, design, develop and test applications by using information got from customers and sales. You will provide technical support and expertise for customers, sales team, delivery projects and service functions. This includes testing the performance of applications, responding to customer performance feedbacks, technical support to installation (robot training etc.) and technical expertise support for service in performance related topics. One of the key reponsibility is to give support for product and technology development especially in product releases and piloting phases.  

The main target of Appication Engineering is to make sure that ZenRobotics is providing high-class technology solutions that clearly fulfill customer expectations. Application Engineering ensures continuous improvement of market know-how and customer requirement understanding at ZenRobotics.

In this role you are working closely with other teams in ZenRobotics. To achieve the best possible result in your work you understand customer processes and factors influencing on it, you are constantly improving performance of applications and you are giving recommendations for Product Development on how to improve our solutions to be even better. In this position you are reporting to Head of Application Engineering and Testing.

• Working experience >5 years at least from one of the following areas: Robotics, software engineering, application engineering, mechanical engineering, process engineering, product development, product management or project management
• As an optimal candidate you have experience from both mechanical engineering and software engineering 
• Education: B.Sc. Engineering or M.Sc. Technology
• Excellent communication skills and ability work with customers fluently
• A customer centric way of working, ability to understand customer needs and processes
• Interests towards circular economy, waste management and recycling
• Structured way of working and passion for driving things forward
• Role requires frequent travelling
• Fluency in English. Finnish, French, German is a plus
