As The Finnish National Agency for Education (Opetushallitus) selected us to continue our already long-term and successful collaboration, we will continue our great work around Studyinfo (Opintopolku) web services by managing the maintenance and being responsible for the integration of the underlying information systems, technical functionality and small-scale development work as part of the normal maintenance. This is just another awesome example why we are called Makers of Tomorrow and how we can create and maintain meaningful and sustainable tomorrow’s solutions.

Needless to be too humble about it as we already have strong team of like-minded top-notch professionals at The Finnish National Agency for Education, but guess what? Due to great news of continuity, the team is about to get even stronger as we are now looking for Software Developers with DevOps mentality to join our team of Makers in August when the renewed agreement enters into force!

What kind of developer are we looking for? 

Besides technical know-how, we are looking for persons who share our ways of thinking and acting: Curiosity to sit on a driver’s seat when it comes to your personal development, pride towards your own work, built-in willingness to do meaningful work with great colleagues as well as "high fives rather than elbows" mentality.

From technical aspect and in order to rock in the team, we hope that your toolbox includes skills and competence in areas such as Java, JavaScript, Scala or Clojure, PostgreSQL and AWS technologies from developer’s point of view. React.js will also make a great addition to your stack. Career-wise this could be your step if you’ve had your hands in software development for at least couple years already. We also wish you to speak and write fluent Finnish and English.
