Licensing solutions is supporting the Nokia licensing businesses – Patent, Brand and Technology – in their business operations. By leveraging the same business capabilities across the Nokia licensing businesses the objective is to drive operational efficiency and run world class licensing operations. We are looking for a hard-working and organized Solution Expert, Business Intelligence (BI) to be responsible for maintain and develop data warehouse model and reporting capabilities to support our business decision making. As a Business Intelligence solution expert you will develop and maintain a data warehouse design to generate reports for different functions like finance, sales, patenting and research intelligence to support the business performance monitoring and business decision making. To be successful in this position we are expecting you to have strong working knowledge of business trends and ability to read and analyse sales, finance and trend data. You should also have strong organizational, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Gathering and analyzing BI & Analytics related business and technical requirements.
- Design, develop and test BI dashboards and reports based on business requirements.
- Define Power BI report structure including required data model and visual layout. Work closely with development team in defining the Data Vault data and information models.
- Organize user acceptance testing and production readiness reviews with business stakeholders and key users.
- Provide BI & Analytics related training to end users and key users.
- Translating business needs into technical specifications.
- Using warehouse data to generate reports to support business decision making and business performance monitoring.
- Maintaining data analytics platforms.
- Evaluating and improving existing BI reporting system
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Deep knowledge on Microsoft Azure BI offerings, especially Azure DW, Azure DB, Azure Blob, Azure Data Factory and Azure Lake.
- Proven track record of data modelling and creating compelling BI dashboards/reports
- Extensive experience using Microsoft Power BI for business intelligence and analytics
- Understanding ERP and CRM systems (including SAP ByD and Salesforce.com)
- Strong influencing skills in virtual organization
- Deep understanding on business intelligence, data warehousing, data quality, master data management and Access management.
- Familiar with DevOps and Agile working methods
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills and strong attention to details
- In-depth business processes knowledge in sales and finance
- Able to work as a team or as a single contributor and able to work independently with architects, and technology providers
- A positive can-do attitude and a willingness to learn new processes and procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills (in English)
