We offer a great opportunity for an experienced finance professional to take a key position at Smartly.io to lead and develop our Financial Planning & Analysis team. As the Head of FP&A you will be instrumental in formulating business plans and ensuring that the financial goals of the company are met. You will provide valuable insight to senior leadership based on the ability to interpret data, trends, and other external environment factors. Together with your team, you will ensure timely and accurate internal (management) reporting, maintain the annual budgeting cycle and lead in the preparation of board presentations. The ideal candidate will have a track record for demonstrating strong financial acumen, be comfortable working with the senior leadership team and have the ability to influence positive organizational change by building a brand as a strong collaborator across the organization.
You will report directly to the CFO and work closely with other leadership team members. This role will be based in Helsinki.
As the Head of FP&A at Smartly.io you will:
- Lead a high-performing team and help your team members succeed in their roles
- Take ownership of the management and investor reporting and deliver consistent, timely monthly reporting packages which cover financial and key operating metrics to Smartly.io leadership, board and shareholders
- Further develop annual and long-term business planning process and ensure alignment between strategy, business and financial planning
- Maintain and evolve a robust financial model that comprises current year and long-term consolidated P&L, balance sheet and cash flow planning
- Build and maintain strong collaboration with the leadership team
We are definitely looking for you if you have:
- Extensive (7+ years) experience from a similar role from a global fast-growing company, ideally from SaaS business
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to interact and influence at all levels
- Highly-driven and self-motivated attitude with a demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on management capacity
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to think creatively and work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, and international environment
