We are currently strengthening our product development unit which develops a product that renovates our customers’ Digital Service Lifecycle Management systems in the cloud where 5G, machine learning and AI plays a significant role. As part of this unit of architects, software and UI developers, test engineers and designers you’ll have a chance to make a true impact on our customers’ every day working life.
The role
We are looking for an UI Lead Architect with sound technical know-how, understanding and hands-on experience of the latest UI technologies and frameworks, and who’s able to drive forward and take the ownership of Nokia’s Digital Operations Product Suite UI’s architecture globally. This person will be the primary driver of UI architecture planning, deployment and decision making for Digital Operations Product Suite. Additionally, due to Nokia’s vast product portfolio, UI related technology and architecture decisions require seamless coordination with User Experience and Platform unit counterparts in order to maintain a coherent and seamless user experience throughout the whole portfolio. Therefore, proactive problem solving, and collaborative way of working is also highly valued.
Digital Operations Product suite is a cloud native solution which utilizes virtualization technologies and therefore, we would value experience in working with modern cloud solutions, containers and security solutions.
Key selection criteria
- Technical know-how
- JavaScript and frameworks (Node, React, D3), REST, GraphQL and Web Services based integration
- Continuous Integration (Jenkins, Git), unit test automation (Jest & Enzyme), system test automation (Nightwatch)
- Cloud/Virtualization (Docker, OpenStack) and Infrastructure as a Code (Vagrant, Ansible)
- Good understanding of full-stack software architecture
- Ability to drive decision making in a large organization
- Problem solving and cooperation skills
- Coaching skills and active knowledge sharing with colleagues
- Fluency in English
