The thing is that we certainly are not an uptight corporation but a highly eager group of people who are admittedly very skilled with tech and we know the ins and outs of the Payment Industry. 

We currently have two people in our marketing and communications team and marketing is an area we want to strengthen as we grow. Our goal is to be a leading European payment industry player operating globally and, indeed, now we are looking for a Head of Marketing to be on the forefront of reaching our goal.

This is a key role in the company to drive long term growth and scalability globally. The Head of Marketing is to create growth by building our brand and by launching and expanding Enfuce on the international scene. You will succeed in this role by understanding our products, the market, and the customers. Ultimately, you will lead our marketing team in ways that support the growth of our sales.

We are Finland's biggest fintech startup and an award-winning innovative payment service provider operating from the cloud. Our company consists of Industry experts with vast knowledge and experience within payments and tech. We are at the forefront in the Payment Industry and we enable the ecosystem around payments to evolve and grow. Innovative technology is the core of our services.

As a whole, we provide a wide range of Payment, Open Banking, and Sustainability services implemented fast and run in the cloud. All of our services are designed for security, compliance, and scalability. As of this moment, we have 15 customers with over 9 million end-users.

We are operating globally and constantly innovating new services to better serve our customers. An important part of this role is telling our story and building our brand so that we can continue to enable the change and help our customers succeed!

What is this all about?

As a whole, we don’t want to set out the responsibilities in stone for you, as a part of this role we will expect you to develop the role and the whole marketing function in order to match current challenges and to meet future needs. 

As the Head of Marketing, you will be working closely with sales and product teams with the shared goal of driving a revolution (growth and success) in the payment industry.

We think that responsibilities include, among other things:

  • Build a growth brand: Develop, drive our brand messages and vision globally and ensure that our brand has a meaningful long term position and achieves maximum growth.
  • Leading marketing activities: Develop and lead marketing activities to drive the Company’s expansion by increasing the Company visibility and demand for the services.
  • Make product marketing happen: Responsible for presenting our services in ways that will strengthen our brand and boost sales. Develop and implement initiatives to position and promote our products &  provide insight to develop our services. 
  • Being innovative: Creative and analytical thinker. You should be familiar with various marketing techniques, campaigns, marketing analytics, and pricing strategies.
  • Advocacy: Masterfully communicate up/down/across the organisation to ensure transparency, alignment, and support advocacy of marketing strategies and plans.

With these skills you will succeed:

  • You can demonstrate proven success in a high growth company, preferably in tech.
  • Understanding and experience from product marketing - experience from payments or tech is beneficial, as it is crucial for you to see the benefits of our services and how to position our services on the market.
  • You know precisely what hyper-growth at a company looks like because you’ve lived it and can navigate ambiguity and change with ease.
  • You still love being hands on and while having a strategic view on marketing.
  • You are data driven - With solid and numerical examples when it comes to demonstrating your previous success.
  • You are a team player and get motivation out from managing internal stakeholders as well as an external agency partner.
  • Leadership - you have the ability to help others succeed and set goals for growth.
  • Desire to challenge customers to think in new & different ways - you dare to stand up for what you believe in and argue for your vision.
