Your key tasks and responsibilities are: 

  • Deployment to production
  • Health care of environments
  • Improve and increase the frequency and quality of deployments 
  • Reduce the severity and frequency of release failures
  • Improve the Mean time to recovery
  • Bridge development and operation

 

Skills, ambition and that little personal twist make you succeed 
Your tech skills and experience form most of your qualifications, but it’s also your personality that makes the difference at Nets. As a person, you are service-minded and customer-oriented. You should be able to work in a structured and detailed manner, but at the same time be solution-oriented within scope. You have good interpersonal skills and easily creates relations internally and towards customers as well as you are a good colleague who works from a team-perspective to reach targets

 

You are passionate about DevOps and fueled by the process of optimizing software delivery. Also, you have at least :

  • Formal education within IT (min. BC of Computer Science or similar)
  • Deep insights into DevOps best practices
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD processes
  • Furthermore, you value and show a deep understanding of principles around DevOps.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English – speaking/writing a Scandinavian language will be considered an advantage 

 

And technically at least you have experience with:

  • Linux/Unix
  • OpenShift/Kubernetes
  • Docker
  • Jenkins or other CI/CD
  • Bash

 

It will be considered an advantage if you also have experience with some of these: 

  • GitOps
  • Kustomize/Helm
  • Terraform 
  • Java/Groovy
  • Maven
  • Continuous Delivery
  • Prometheus
  • Grafana
  • Kibana/Splunk
  • SAFe

 

Personal qualities that will help you succeed in this role include

  • Being able to adopt a team-oriented approach to solving problems
  • An agile mindset, experiment, learn and adapt
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
