Yousician is now hiring two QA Automation Specialists! In this role, you’ll have a unique opportunity to profoundly impact the lives of hundreds of millions of future musicians worldwide and re-imagine the way music education works.

We are looking for experienced QA Automation Specialists to take part in improving and automating our product. You will take part in our quality assurance in many different frontiers to make our world-class music education products rock even harder than today! You will be working with our cross-functional product team (developers, designers, QA, data) to make sure our user experience is seamless for our users. 

What you'll do

  • Discover software defects by manual testing in a multi-platform, mobile-first environment working with Unity (iOS, Android, MacOS, Win).
  • Create and execute manual testing plans to ensure the quality of each release (an ongoing process).
  • Develop and automate test cases for Yousician’s mobile and desktop apps.
  • Actively develop our testing and development processes to improve product quality.

Who you are

  • Strong proven previous experience in quality assurance in a multi-platform environment (shipped products on iOS, Android, PC/Mac), experience in games and gamified applications is a plus.
  • Solid experience in manual and automated testing.
  • Experience with UI automation tools/Frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, UIAutomator, XCUITest, Robot Framework, and Javascript E2E testing libraries or similar
  • Detail- and quality-oriented with a passion for sniffing out hard-to-find bugs.
  • Good overall understanding of agile software development processes
  • Experience working with concurrent software projects (main development tools we use are Unity, AWS, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence)
  • Experience in scripting or programming is a strong plus
  • Musical skills are a strong plus.
