• We are a diverse community of curious minds and data geeks that are excited to build the best business data solutions ever. Kindness, humility, openness and dedication to our respective crafts are some of our most prevalent traits.
• We build products that are used by 400k people around the world in small and big companies alike (our more well-known customers include the BBC, Dyson and WarnerBros to name a few).

👑 Why you will become an integral part of our team

We want you to be a central and leading voice in all our decisions regarding testing and automated testing in our Platform Services team. We have diverse and complicated systems that integrate with many external sources; all of which require an innovative approach to testing. We’ve started down this road, but you will be the person taking us further. With your skills and experience we hope to build a world-class automation experience for our developers and the company, for both existing and new products.

💪🏽 We’d love to have you in our team and contribute by:

• Designing automated test strategies and guiding decisions to successful implementation and completion.
• Planning automation pipelines into our existing tools as well as being an important voice in our next generation of CI/CD systems.
• Using your coding skills in PHP, Java, Python and/or Typescript to build automated tooling that will be used by 30+ developers.
• Recommending and helping build test automation systems in conjunction with our SRE/Ops team.
• Developing, updating and automating test cases and training others on standard methodologies for automated test case design.
• Providing traceability from business requirements and technical specifications to test conditions and defect reports.
• Using your excellent verbal and written English skills to communicate to the many parts of the company on testing and test automation.

🛠 What you probably need to know:

• Considerable experience in diverse test automation tools and best practices.
• Ability to build tools in some or all of the following languages: PHP, Java, Python and/or Typescript.
• Considerable hands-on experience developing automated tests for backend APIs (e.g. REST/RPC) using Postman or a similar tool set.
• Thorough understanding of source code management using Git or equivalent.
• Experience creating test environments using containers (Docker, Kubernetes) or the cloud (AWS, Google Cloud Platform).
• A strong understanding of ETL tools, Data Warehouses and enterprise-level data management would definitely set you apart from the crowd.
