We are looking for a UX/UI Designer to strengthen our Elisa Viihde design team. Elisa Viihde is the leading digital entertainment service in Finland. Our mission is to help consumers to find content they want to watch by innovating, creating usable and delightful products, and continuously improving the service.

At Elisa Viihde you will be part of a multicultural and multi-disciplined design team delivering rich designs and innovative user experiences for smartphones and tablets, smart TVs and Set-top box (STB). You will join a team of 5 designers and an Elisa-wide design community

Your main tasks in this role:

• Design and execute all aspects of user experience and interface design: Information architecture IA, workflows, wireframes, UI mockups, and prototyping for various applications, including video on demand, live TV and social apps
• Design for iOS, Android, Smart TVs (Android TV, Tizen, webOS), STB, Windows, Web, and other media devices
• Research and develop new user interface ideas
• Work closely with product owners and developers to understand business and technical requirements
• Participate in workshops with stakeholders

In order for you to complement our team in the best possible way, we hope that you have:

• 4 to 6 years of relevant working experience in UX/UI design, mobile, web or TV platforms
• Proficiency with Figma and/or Sketch (also Photoshop and Illustrator are appreciated)
• Solid experience in creating workflows, wireframes, mockups and prototyping
• A degree in Interaction design UX/UI (We are not looking for a Print/Graphic designer or Developer)
• Great communication skills in English, both oral and written
• Knowledge of e-commerce platforms
• A strong data-driven and user-centric approach to design

We also appreciate if you have:

• Knowledge of wireframing and prototyping tools such as InVision
• Up-to-date knowledge with the latest interface guidelines from Smart TVs
• Copywriting skills
• Ability to work with a team remotely (developers, project manager(s) and design team)
• Knowledge of A/B testing (split testing)
• Experience with user research and testing
• Understanding of agile/lean practices
• Understanding of accessibility guidelines
• Fluency in Finnish language is a plus in usability testing and writing UI texts
