• Responsibility for the technical customer support activities within the Functionally Safe Positioning Products Development organization
• Understanding and developing the necessary activities to support customers during design-in phase up to maintenance period
• Find appropriate technical solutions to cope with all identified safety risks in close collaboration with domain experts and engineers
• Creating technical documentation and customer dedicated support material
• Receiving customer issues, analyzing data, identifying if the data is sufficient, triage the issues and hand-off to other members in the organization as needed
• Support the analysis of non-conformities and feed back to Quality and R&D for corrective actions
• Proactively align and collaborate with the Functionally Safe Positioning Products Development organization during product definition and development
• Regular activity reporting to AE Group and AE Director

• Master or Bachelor's, Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
• Functional safety certification (e.g. ISO 26262 or DO-178C) and experience in Functional Safety area
• Good understanding of GNSS technology, typical architectures and expected behavior of components in safety-critical solutions
• Safety requirements analysis capability at the system, hardware and software level. Able to quickly understand the system architecture of customer's application and consult on a technical level
• Hands on experience with validation tools, development hardware and test equipment.
• Experience with bug life cycle systems
• Outstanding documentation skills
• Hands-on knowledge of embedded software and/or hardware design
• Excellent communication skills to interface with u-blox subsidiaries and customers around the world
• Demonstrated work initiative as a self-starter with time management and prioritization skills, with ability to follow up actions to closure
• Willingness to travel to customer sites in domestic and international locations
• Enjoying new challenges and innovative technologies
• Fluent in English.

• Industry experience by min. 5 years in Global Positioning Systems (GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, Galileo)
• Fluent in one or more other European or APAC language
• Experience in embedded SW debugging and embedded development platforms (emulators/debuggers)
• Hardware design experience (analog, RF, digital)
