OpenText Business Network Engineering is strengthening its global presence in Tampere location, and we are looking for a new Sr. Software Engineer with software quality assurance focus to join the development team developing platform services for micro-services based platforms.

You are great at:

- Working as part of an agile development team.
- Participating in team's planning and design sessions by and actively provide QA aspect.
- Leading the teams functional and non-functional test activities and other QA responsibilities defined by SDLC.
- Collaborating with team members to design and implement comprehensive automated test suites to ensure team's deliverables meet the quality requirements.
- Integrating automated test suites as part of the CI/CD pipeline.
- Working with other teams to share knowledge on test automation practices and tools.
- Contributing to test tool and framework development and follow the industry leading edge practices in the area.
- Analysing issues reported by customers and troubleshooting with the team - always driving for root cause analysis and making sure the test assets gets updated in case a software bug is found.
- Growing to be subject matter quality expert for the specific micro services team is responsible of.

What it takes:

- Software development skills e.g. in Java or Python with a quality mindset.
- Experience on continuous integration and test automation.
- 5+ years of industry experience or otherwise proven track record.

Benefits to have:
- Experience on Robot Framework.
- Experience on load, performance, and durability testing and tools such as Gatling.
- Working with DevOps based practices with familiarity on Docker containers and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity of ElasticSearch, Cassandra or Kafka.
