Global Product Group Switches & Fusegear are looking for a Global Product Manager to set the direction and lead one of the main product lines with an experienced product management team. In this position you will be responsible for a global, market-leading portfolio of low-voltage switch products ensuring active portfolio management to achieve medium to long-term profitable growth. This position is preferably located in Europe.

Your responsibilities

Leading a team of Product Managers and exercising together with them an active portfolio management for continued profitable growth of a Product Line Orchestrating the creation and continuous adjustment of the Product Line’s roadmap in line with the Product Group and Division strategies to create a leading, market driven portfolio Working with dedicated R&D resources and Project Managers to develop the future leading portfolio that sets a sustainable benchmark in low-voltage switch business also during and after the time of industrial digitalization Defining and realizing correct market price positioning of the existing portfolio based on solid customer value proposition Managing the full lifecycle of the Product Line’s portfolio from creation to phase-out including relevant messaging to the markets and collaboration with global Operations teams for optimal footprint Ensuring market access, customer satisfaction and achievement of target revenues in close collaboration with a Global sales team, Country marketing teams and the Operations teams of our global manufacturing units Living ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business

Your background

Ability to vision and drive a winning yet lean portfolio development of extensive product platforms B.Sc. or M.Sc. in engineering or relevant business studies and work experience of at least 5 years in the field of Product Management Solid track record of successful product portfolio management Systematic and analytical way of thinking, with the ability to base business decisions on technical knowledge Excellent leadership and business skills combined with pro-active, can-do attitude that inspires others around Executive level communication and presentation skills considering an international business environment Ideally, you have experience in the field of low-voltage power distribution or another field of electrical engineering Working experience in managerial positions and international working experience is an advantage Understanding of Industry 4.0 and product portfolio digitalization is a plus Communication skills in Finnish, Chinese and/or Italian are a benefit
