Your role:

We are looking for a Compliance Manager who is an expert in the areas of card issuing and processing for our office in Helsinki or Berlin and who will be responsible for ensuring overall compliance for any (payment) card related matters.

As part of our fast-growing team, you will work closely with our partners belonging to the cards infrastructure, the Risk Officer, the Compliance Officer and other members of our Control Team.

Please note that traveling between our offices and for other business purposes might be required from time to time.

Your tasks in detail:

• Ensure adherence to card scheme rules and regulations
• Accountability for reporting obligations towards the card scheme and regulatory authorities
• Continuous improvement and monitoring of payment card related fraud prevention and risk mitigation programs
• Supervision of the execution of card related business initiatives
• Supervision of the card operations. Consultation for the operational executing business layer.

Your profile

• >3 years of relevant Compliance and card issuing experience in financial institutions
• Comprehensive knowledge of European financial regulations (such as AMLD and PSD2)
• Comprehensive experience in working with card scheme(s) (such as Mastercard or Visa) and financial regulators
• You have a “Maker and Doer” attitude and no problems with going the extra-mile if needed
• You have a proactive, self-starter spirit and the ability to work both ways, independently and in a team without micromanagement.
• Language skills: Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is required. Any additional language (especially German, Finnish, Spanish) is a big plus
