We are looking for an experienced but eager-to-learn Project Manager to Solteq Robotics unit. Solteq Robotics aims to derive concrete value from rising innovations that separate true potential of a technology from hype, marketing and buzzwords. We are at the forefront of the latest developments in computing.

Project Manager

This position is a balanced combination of a project and line manager features. At Solteq, you will have an opportunity to coordinate multiple small to medium-sized technical and business-oriented projects. While tracking project well-being, staying alert for possible risks and resolving issues as they arise, you will also coordinate tasks, acquire appropriate resources, and ensure proper team utilization while keeping an eye on the budget. While joggling project and business needs you shall not forget about your team’s requirements, whether they are team activities, individualized training or something else by nature.

In this position, you will also be expected to draw up and deliver project-related documentation, including reports, requirements documentation, design proposals, and presentations for stakeholder engagement.

You

You might be the one we are looking for if you are a qualified and experienced IT Project Manager with preferably some experience in robotics. You are flexible, open-minded and eager-to-learn professional with the ability to simplify complex matters and develop multi-level relationships with customers and team members. In more details this means that you must have:

• At least 5 years of the hands-on experience as IT Project Manager
• Strong and broad-based IT and business experience, delivering diverse IT projects  
• Proven experience of best practice tools and methodologies for business requirements capture and process analysis
• Ability to use problem-solving skills and make well-judged recommendations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, both in Finnish and English
• Proficient at presenting complex information in straight forward terms

In addition to above mentioned, it is useful also to have:

• Solid business development and/or sales skills
• JIRA knowledge
• Experience working with Agile, Kanban and other related methodologies
