We are now looking for an
 

EQUITY ANALYST / JUNIOR EQUITY ANALYST
 

You will focus mainly on Finnish small cap companies as part of the international Equity Research team that provides information and service to our local and international institutional investment banking clients. You will be based in Helsinki, Finland.

The responsibilities of the equity analyst / junior equity analyst are to:

• produce fundamental value-added equity research to global institutional investors that encompasses both company’s competitive position and the fair value of the security
• pitch investment ideas internally and externally throughout the global organisation
• update clients  by publishing  impactful, value-added research that demonstrates well-thought out opinions and action-oriented investment recommendations backed up by fact and data.
 

How to thrive in this role
 

To be successful in this position you have a relevant university degree and possibly a couple of years of working experience in the financial industry. Understanding financial accounts and a keen interest in the financial markets are essential requirements. As a person you are motivated to reach goals and a team-player with strong work ethics.
 

Excellent written and spoken English and Finnish communication skills are a requirement and the knowledge of other Nordic languages is an advantage. You have excellent MS Office skills. It is a an advantage to have knowledge of FactSet and Bloomberg.
