The team currently is five members strong and now we are looking for a new Database Engineer who has previous experience from Oracle.

What is the role all about?

At Enfuce, the Database Engineer is part of the team that provides the underlying AWS and Oracle environments where our products are hosted. As a cloud native organisation, we strive to cutting edge technology and solutions while at the same time ensuring compliance, security and operational excellence.

As the Database Engineer  you have a great responsibility in keeping the database operational, safe, and secure, while optimizing the database for performance, resilience and safety. In addition, ivestigating new ways of using Oracle technology to our advantage is a part of what the Database Engineer does at Enfuce.

Your responsibilities include:

• Installing, upgrading and configuring Oracle databases
• Maintaining and testing backup and disaster recovery plans
• Troubleshooting performance issues and proactive monitoring
• Keeping up to date with latest PCI requirements

What you’ll need:

• Strong experience from working with Oracle in a Linux environment is a must
• To take pride in your performance 
• Understanding of risks while not being too afraid of failure in order to manage risks appropriately 
• Inquisitiveness and curiosity towards solving complex problems
• Great communication skills in English and willingness to work as a team player
• To be eager to take responsibility for your part in the Enfuce journey
