Delivery Coordinator

Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions (SMR) is a leading supplier of equipment and tools, service and support for the mining industry. We also provide solutions and knowledge in a wide range of applications such as quarrying, recycling, demolition, tunneling, civil engineering and dimensional stone.

Division Load & Haul’s Turku plant within SMR is a global technology and manufacturing center for loading & hauling equipment. Our Delivery Office team is now looking for a dynamic and proactive Delivery Coordinator. The position is temporary (maternity leave) starting in April and based in Turku, Finland.

Your role

We are looking for a Delivery Coordinator to process sales orders and outbound material flow from our manufacturing sites. In this position you will handle the sales orders and ensure the on time delivery. You’ll coordinate the transport arrangements for the mining units and components in all sizes, monitor the transportation from order to delivery and provide information to internal and external stakeholders. Preparing and issuing export documentation and invoices in compliance with prevailing laws and regulations are an important part of the job. Timely communication and fluent co-operation with different stakeholders are a crucial part of the daily work.

Your background and what we find important

You have a suitable educational background in commercial or in logistics field and have earlier experience in international trade and/ or order – delivery process. You are able to work independently, as well as a member of a team. Succeeding in the position requires good interpersonal and team working skills, customer-oriented approach, flexibility and ability to work under pressure. Your English and Finnish language skills are fluent, both written and spoken. Other language skills, knowledge of sales contracts and trade compliance are regarded as a benefit.
