We are looking for a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to work on macrophage targeted immunotherapy. The project utilizes human-derived tumor explants with mass cytometry and single-cell RNA sequencing to discover drug mode of action and biomarkers to support the clinical development of bexmarilimab. The project is executed in close collaboration with Faron Pharmaceuticals and the Cancer IO network.

The candidate should have good background knowledge in immunology and technical skills in single-cell omics. R-language skills are highly recommended. The candidate should be fluent in English and have excellent presentation skills.

The start of employment is negotiable, but the selected candidate must start in the position by 1.1.2021 at the latest. The position is fixed-term for 24 months. Trial period is 6 months.

The salary is determined by the collective agreement system of Finnish universities. The positions belong to our research personnel and the salary for a postdoctoral researcher will be 3100 – 3400 eur/month in average.

Salaried position in Finland automatically include payment to pension, unemployment funds, occupational healthcare and a holiday allowance.
