Wärtsilä Global Logistics Services is now looking for a temporary Customs Data Expert for one year to strengthen the CDE team in Parts Supply organisation.

In this position you have possibility to work with wide supplier scope used in Spare Parts business as well as familiarize yourself with products delivered through classification. 

In this position you will have a possibility to work with internal and external stakeholders being important part of the whole supply chain. Join our team and apply now!

Responsibilities

- Supplier’s declarations collection and of data quality related to declarations’ data (Country of origins, preferential statuses, commodity codes, ECN/ECCN codes)
- Accountable of classifying products (commodity codes, ECN/ECCN) and of monitoring data quality in WGLS 
- Making data analysis to see where to concentrate improvements
- Supporting import and export functions when needed as well as solving found issues
- Training both internal and external stakeholders with declarations process and systems used

Requirements/Desired Skills
- B.Sc. in engineering or economics
- Knowledge of commodity codes and origin rules seen as advantage
- Ability to understand technical drawings and standards 
- Basic understanding of engines and auxiliaries 
- Supply Chain knowledge 
- Team working skills 
- Fluent English
