Our global team of Migration Practice at Nordcloud is looking for Cloud Advisor to support our growth strategy across Europe.

The Nordcloud Advisory team helps customers transform and evolve their business through the use of Public Cloud technologies. As part of an entrepreneurial team in this rapidly growing business, you will help shape the future of businesses of all sizes use technology to connect with customers, employees, and partners.

As an Applications Discovery & Migration consultant, you will bring your experience and thought leadership to help drive strategy. Your goals are to deliver impactful, customer-relevant business outcomes, and enable repeatable, low-friction solutions-based selling. You will develop short-mid-long term strategies enabling the delivery team to develop an executable plan.

You will identify and parse industry trends in Cloud computing to recommend, plan for, and address core customer challenges for Cloud adoption. You will interface directly with customers, both helping them to understand Nordcloud’s offerings and gathering their feedback. Finally, you will recommend ways to adapt to changes.

Your responsibilities include:

• Analyze the current state of application and infrastructure landscape and recommend the 6Rs of Cloud transformation
• Develop solutions with an end-to-end focus on technical and commercial readiness
• Own and manage the ongoing lifecycle of each solution, including promoting internal and external awareness and evaluating the success
• Manage cross-functional collaboration within Norcloud and with the customer
• Travel to customer sites, conferences, and related events as required
• Support the Sales team during pre-sales engagements related to Cloud Migration and Cloud Operating Model

To be successful in this role we expect you to have:

• Hands-on experience in managing technical projects within the Application Development, DevOps, and broader cloud domains.
• Experience with assessment of applications and infrastructure for Rationalization / Migration
• Have knowledge of basic cloud way of working, benefits, and TCO calculations
• Experience delivering polished and professional business and technical pitches to Customer Executives
• Ability to quickly learn, understand and work with emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Cloud/IT technology space
• As we have varying opportunities to work internationally, the requirement to travel is a minimum of 25% in Finland and other locations in Europe.
