On-call Trainee, Indirect Purchasing

We are looking for an on-call Trainee for Procurement Center in Indirect Purchasing. Procurement Center is developing the indirect purchasing tools, processes and way of working globally in Wärtsilä. This trainee position is to support the team in different kind of development and enhancement projects. Working time is agreed based on the need (max 25h/week) and agreed on monthly bases.

Location for this position is Helsinki, Finland. The vacancy is a fixed term position.

As an ideal candidate you have:

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. studies on-going at the moment
• Excellent oral and written English
• Outgoing personality and ability to facilitate workshops and conduct interviews/surveys
• Experience and/or strong interest, and possibly ongoing studies about some of the following areas:

                - Supply Chain, eSourcing and eProcurement

                - Comunications and marketing

                - Robotic process automation (RPA)

                - Analytics

                - Project Management

                - People management

We are looking for motivated proactive student with a “can-do” attitude, analytical and systematic approach to work. We value team players with the ability to co-operate in a multicultural environment. You will have independent work responsibilities but also support your team in daily work and reporting.
