Housemarque is looking for an Associate Producer to work on our latest game project RETURNAL and other upcoming projects!

Housemarque is looking for an Associate Producer who can hit the ground running and maybe teach us new tricks. Communication is your main tool and you make things easier to our award-winning cross-functional teams by facilitating day-to-day production, communicating between stakeholders and inspiring collaboration. We like people who are brave to take initiative, stay on target and like fellow humans. You are comfortable having several roles and can handle the fact that your slate is never clean. You come in and instigate, facilitate, alleviate, advice and empower.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create, track, and manage tasks to ensure that schedules are maintained and adjusted accordingly for all upcoming releases and deadlines
• Improve existing and/or create new processes to help improve communication and efficiencies
• Identify, communicate, and resolve any risks that may prevent the team from completing deadlines to production leadership and team leads
• Scheduling and maintaining day to day tasking of departmental and interdisciplinary teams
• Partner with other Producers to balance resource contention
• Creatively solve problems that arise during development

EXPECTATIONS

• 2+ years’ experience as an Associate Producer (or similar) in the video game industry
• Prior experience working with large development teams
• Familiarity with project management methodologies
• Excellent task-tracking organization skills
• Strong communication skills in English
• Very organized self-starter willing to assume responsibility
• Can handle multiple projects or tasks without dropping the ball
• Able to conduct oneself in a professional manner with all co-workers

PLUSES

• Previous QA, Design, Engineering or Artwork experience
• Skilled in JIRA, Trello, MS and Google Office Suites
