Shipping Coordinator

Surface Drilling Division is now looking for a Shipping Coordinator to join us in Order Desk team. This is a temporary (maternity leave substitute) position until the end of 2021. The position is based in Tampere, where Sandvik has a global technology and manufacturing center for drilling equipment.

Your mission

As Shipping Coordinator, you will coordinate transportation arrangements for units and components in all sizes using various modes of transportation. You prepare and issue export documentation in compliance with prevailing laws and regulations as well as monitor the transportation from order to delivery. Timely communication and fluent co-operation with both internal and external stakeholders are an essential part of your daily work.

Your background and what we find important

You have a suitable educational background e.g. commercial or in logistics field and earlier experience in international trade and order-delivery process. Previous experience in payment and delivery terms used in international trade is needed. Your way of working is independent, customer oriented and precise. Succeeding in this position requires also good interpersonal and team working skills and ability to work under pressure. As we act in a global business this job requires fluent English and Finnish skills.
