Lead Retail Consultant in SAP area

to join our talented team in Espoo, Finland.

As Lead SAP Retail Consultant, you will be part of TietoEVRY’s SAP S/4HANA practice. We foster a collegial atmosphere through feedback and assure a positive and friendly work climate.

To succeed in this role, you have consultative mindset and strong customer focus with extensive Retail business experience and capabilities to bring the knowledge into SAP Retail solution. Understanding customer requirements, scoping, discovering and defining end-to-end solutions and explaining business benefits is essential in this role.

This role is not only about deep technical understanding of SAP Retail solution, but primarily the proactive business consulting capabilities in the areas of Pricing, Category Management and Promotion Management including the deep understanding of the Master Data and it’s structure play an important role in this position.

Functional Skills:

• You understand the nuances of Grocery Retail as compared to Fashion Retail or General Merchandise retail
• Ability to perform detailed analysis of Business Processes & Requirements
• Collaborate with client team and delivery team to drive solution design and implementation
• Ability to define and execute a transformational change plan aligned with client’s business strategy and context for change
• SAP IS-Retail Skills, including
  • Hands on SAP IS-Retail skills acquired through at-least 1-2 project experiences
  • Merchandise Planning (incl. Assortment Planning)
  • Merchandise Distribution through Allocation Table and Collective Purchase Order
  • Category Management
  • Pricing
  • Campaign and Promotion Management

• Additionally, you have knowledge of the following IS-Retail solution areas
  • Article master creation
  • Listing/delisting
  • POS Interface
  • Supply chain planning
  • Demand planning
  • Channel / Store operations
  • Space Planning

Preferred experience:

• 5 to 7 years of relevant work experience in consulting and implementation in SAP IS-Retail
• Proven experience –at least one Grocery retail industry project
• In-depth understanding and experience of at-least two of the following retail functions - Pricing, Category Management and Promotion Management
• strong facilitation and team leading skills
• fluency in both spoken and written Finnish and English is required
