CHIEF TECHNOLOGY ARCHITECT (CTA) FOR YIT

We are looking for a Chief Technology Architect to join YIT in a position in which you will be responsible for enterprise wide development of the technical capabilities and definition of technical standards to support YIT business. You are ensuring that the development of the technical capabilities is planned and executed according to YIT development model and Enterprise Architecture principles. Company-wide Enterprise Technology Architecture definition, guidelines, development and documentation are in your responsibility.

As a Chief Technology Architect, you design reliable architectures by re-using YIT Architecture building blocks (e.g. Azure services) and proactively propose synergies and opportunities. You evaluate solutions from the architecture point-of-view and take role in RFI/RFP processes. Chief Technology Architect is also an active member of YIT Enterprise Architecture Community and leads YIT Cloud Center of Excellence virtual team (CCE). CCE is a virtual team, consisting of internal and external competent technology leaders (architects, engineers, administrators), focusing on designing, governing, implementing and operating Solutions in the Public Cloud (Microsoft Azure) - in line with YIT Cloud Strategy.

Are you the professional we are looking for?

To be successful in this role you will need a solid understanding on enterprise technologies and an insight into the trends in technology and the business opportunities it offers. You have knowledge of enterprise architecture best practices and reference models and ability to adapt those to YIT. Your skills in people management and business communication are excellent.

We expect you to have:

• Proven track record in architecture transformation program deliveries
• Experience in enterprise technology architecture including cloud (xAAS)
• Certifications and/or proven experience upon Microsoft Azure Cloud Architecture
• Understanding of a new technology enabled business and operational models including multiparty digital ecosystems and power of shared data
• TOGAF certification is preferred
• Experience in agile development models (SAFe)
• Fluent written and spoken English. We also value the language skills of Russia, the Nordic countries and / or Central and Eastern European countries.
• At least Bachelor’s degree from IT computing (or similar) and 5-10 years of relevant work experience
