We are looking for an Electrical or Automation Project Lead Engineer at ABB Oy, Energy Industries in Vaasa, Tampere or Turku. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinate an assigned project team in the technical execution of engineering activities for hydro power projects, mainly in Sweden and Norway. You will work cooperate with Project Managers and other stakeholders. Your task is to lead engineering processes in a field of energy industry. We offer you a challenging position in an international working environment. You’ll have the opportunity to professional development in engineering and project work. Role includes travel approx. 50 days annually.

Your responsibilities

Take ownership of project’s technical solutions, ensure that project engineering activities goes along to contract specifications, on time and budget. When necessary participate design activities as well. Serve as a technical reference for engineering team, suppliers and customers. Work cooperate with project team members, engineering partners and report to Project Manager and Engineering Manager. Your background

B.Sc. or M.Sc. in electrical or automation engineering Several years of relevant work experience also site and commissioning Knowledge of power plants is mandatory Experience in hydro power plants is beneficial Result-oriented mindset and ability to make decisions Good time management and planning skills English and Swedish skills is needed, Finnish language is an advantage
