My name is Remco Jansen and I am heading Customer Identity and Access Management at Telia. We are a great diverse bunch of people, and I am super proud of every member of our team.

My colleagues and I are looking forward to onboard an experienced Solutions Architect to our team who will help us tackle our challenges around API security. You will play a key role in translating strategy into actionable architecture and working technical solutions in an important area where we are enabling the new digital experiences for our customers.

The primary location for the job could either be in Oslo, Helsinki or Stockholm.

Your next challenge?

We are transforming and modernizing the Identity and Access Management landscape at Telia, creating new solutions that enable our application development teams to provide the ultimate and most secure user experience possible for our customers.

As a Solutions Architect, you will define target solutions in the IAM area with a particular focus on API security. You will collaborate closely with our business units, partners and customers in different countries to design technical solutions that meet their needs. You will validate your understanding of the business context and present adequate architectures and solution designs that tackle business problems. You’ll drive architectural discussions and alignment with all relevant parties across the organization. Together with a team of highly skilled technical experts, you’ll be producing technical documents, developing software and ultimately bringing your vision into action!

You need to have natural leadership abilities since your work is as much about inspiring and influencing others as well as driving change. You can easily shift between different viewpoints and have the ability to see important technical details while always keeping the helicopter perspective in mind. We expect you to be in the forefront and understand the trends and customer needs for identity and access management in digital ecosystems.

Your experience:

• Experience with designing enterprise-grade solutions in the IAM or security domain
• Comfortable with having a technical lead role
• Knowledge of OAuth2 and OpenID Connect
• Experience with Node.js, Go and/or Java as well as public cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred)
• Experience with policy-based access management frameworks is preferred
• Familiarity with API Gateways is preferred
• Relevant academic degree, preferably in computer science
