Energy Finance and Control team is looking for a Business controller to strengthen the team. In this team you will be offered a challenging but interesting working environment, supporting the Energy business on a global scale.

You will be part of Energy Services Finance and control team and work in close co-operation with Energy services organization and Energy business globally. In this position your main Energy stakeholder will be the Customer delivery organization in Energy services as well as the Area and Regional organizations. 
The main work scope are finance and control related tasks regarding Warranty management, Field Services and Technical services. 
 
In this position you report to Director, Energy Services - Finance & Control, with the preferred location Vaasa, Finland.
 
Your main responsibilities are
- Participate in defining and implementing strategies and action plans for Energy Services; regarding Warranty, Field Services and Technical Services activities
- Ensure we reach an operational excellence mindset, through proactively supporting and coordinating continuous improvement initiatives within organization
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders in Energy business
- Inform and advise the Energy organization on process discrepancies or inefficiencies with suggestions on improvements
- Initiate, suggest and lead changes and improvements to the business reporting and related processes
- Support and communicate to stakeholders, provide training, follow-up and implement action plans based on feedback
- Willingness to go the extra mile to ensure success of the business
 
Main requirements in this role are
- Strategic, analytical and development mindset
- You like to get things done with a proactive attitude
- Track record of experience in business control with a global and complex business setting
- Experience from Warranty, Field services or Technical services environment, understanding the dynamics that impacts business processes and ways of working
- Proven ability to challenge and steer the business through advanced financial planning, forecasting and business analysis
- Professional knowledge of the financial tools, procedures and guidelines used in Wärtsilä in a combination with an open mind, supporting and coaching mindset
- Ability to work in matrix organisation together with Energy Services operational functions and Business control
