Zervant is on a mission to help entrepreneurs succeed. Our service enables entrepreneurs all over Europe to get paid faster for their work. We are the connector between small businesses and financial companies, offering solutions such as invoicing, invoice delivery, e-invoicing and invoice financing. We are a growth company whose product is already used by tens of thousands of entrepreneurs, and billions of Euros are invoiced using Zervant every year.  But it doesn’t stop there - our  goal is to become the most popular invoicing software in Europe. 

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

This role is for a motivated, energetic, and communicative individual. You will be working in an agile development environment. You already have a few years of practical experience and you are prepared to pro­actively develop your skills in a highly dynamic and rewarding environment.

As a software developer at Zervant your main role is to develop and maintain our backend services and/or focus on our frontend code, but there is also variety. Our teams take on whole projects, and work on them all the way from start to finish. So you can expect to take on whatever is needed to get the job done. Challenging? Yes. Rewarding? Absolutely.

WHAT WE EXPECT

Given that you’ll have a diverse, hands on role, you’ll need a broad skillset to match. Added to programming skills in Javascript/Typescript you’ll need knowledge, or eagerness to learn, some of the following: Java, Clojure, AWS, Linux, Terraform, CI/CD, Docker, Node, React and Databases. If you’ve got any projects on Github that show your experience then send ‘em over!

Our working language is English, so you’ll need to be fluent in written and spoken form.  We’re after someone with a genuine passion and interest in software quality and design.Someone with a curious mindset and a willingness to dig deep and identify the root cause of problems.
