We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Development Engineer to join our Standards, Regulations and Approvals (SRA) team in our R&D. 

The global operations of Nokian Tyres are extending fast. The global tyre industry and regulatory world in which we operate is changing fast. The SRA team operates in between the global requirements and our internal needs and opportunities. Your role will be essential in securing our success in this changing environment. You will be working in close collaboration with a wide range of different working communities from different functions inside R&D to other departments inside the company as well as with various partners outside Nokian Tyres at international level. 

Key responsibilities: 

Together with the SRA Team: 

•    Coordination and execution of type approval and tyre labelling processes, including coordination of testing processes, and further development of all these processes 

•    Management of type approval, certification and labelling documentation 

•    Following regulatory developments and maintaining sufficient knowledge of various regulatory requirements  

•    Support in fulfilling various authority requirements 

Qualifications: 

•    Minimum B.Sc. degree in relevant field, for example Engineering 

•    At least 2 years of work experience in relevant fields 

•    Fluent in English, both oral and written, all other language skills are advantage  

•    Excellent social and cultural interpersonal skills 

•    Able to manage pressure in changing situations with multiple tasks 

•    Ideally knowledge from any of the following sectors: tyre industry, vehicle or vehicle component approval or testing processes, other certification or consumer information labelling processes 

In this position you will report to Senior Manager SRA and the location of this position is negotiable.
