The Business Productivity Services unit is responsible for defining and delivering IT services in various domains like data analytics, master data management, finance and logistics to mention few. The teams manage solutions and applications’ lifecycle management through defined IT services.

We are looking for a Solution Expert, a perfect all-rounder, for financial applications on Windows and cloud platforms. Your home base would be with Global ERP Centre of Excellence with experienced colleagues working with financial and logistics systems. The selected person will be responsible for designing, managing and supporting solutions for a set of finance related services.

This position is located in Wärtsilä headquarters, Helsinki, Finland.

Responsibilities

- Responsible for applications in own responsibility area
- Participating in and acting as a lead in selected development activities.
- Co-operating with other IM instances, the Service Management, Solution Architecture and Technology and Infrastructure as well as supporting partner to ensure strong teamwork.
- Actively planning the technical landscape together with service management, customers and enterprise architecture 
- Providing Application high-end support

Requirements

- Windows Server and Citrix environment experience
- SQL database related experience (preferably both Oracle and MS SQL)
- Oracle EPM (HFM / FDMEE), SAP ECC/S4 and other financial consolidation tools experience seen as benefit
- Education: M.Sc. or equivalent in Information Technology or Engineering
- Understanding on Web servers, Oracle WebLogic and Java
- At least basic level programming or scripting skills (Powershell, Java etc.), understanding of network configurations, firewalls, integrations
- Experience on Cloud solutions, Azure, Amazon AWS, etc.
- Financial, taxation and reporting processes understanding
