About this opportunity

• Build & manage containerised infrastructure platforms (on-premise and cloud) and delivery pipelines for customer facing Digital services at scale
• Develop and maintain resilient, scalable web services hosting infrastructure as a service
• Feature development and maintenance of Continuous Delivery pipelines serving several hundred microservices & tens of web applications. Building the development to production environments to host them
• Evangelise DevOps culture and best practices in the organization

Who you are

• Several years of experience in developing and operating customer facing web services
• Have an understanding and prior experience on what it takes to build and maintain a reliable & resilient application hosting infrastructure for large scale-high volume digital solutions
• Deep knowledge on Infrastructure as Code principles
• Ability to think out of the box and looking at the big picture to minimize technical debts
• Good communication and interaction skills

• At least 3 years of software development experience
• Hands-on proficiency and at least 3 years of experience in several/all the below:
  • Container platforms (Docker, Openshift etc.,)
  • Deployment orchestration (Docker Swarm, Kubernetes or similar)
  • Infrastructure orchestration (Terraform or similar)
  • Configuration Management and Deployment Tools (Ansible etc.,)
  • CI/CD tools (Jenkins or similar)
  • Deployment & hosting infrastructure setup and maintenance, disaster recovery planning, infrastructure as code
  • Monitoring & alerting tools (like Prometheus, Splunk, AppDynamics, InfluxDB, Grafana, TICK/ELK stack)
  • Scripting languages (Python, Groovy, Shell etc.,)
  • Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP or similar)
• Understanding and debugging skills on network traffic & routing and load balancing concepts, Linux OS and databases would be preferred
• Understanding on microservice-architecture oriented solutions is a definite plus
• Experience on hosting/managing data management/caching solutions like Hazelcast, Redis, Kafka or similar would be preferred
• Master’s degree education in software engineering or other IT areas
