ABOUT THE JOB:

We are looking for Test Engineer to join our R&D teams working on the development of modern applications part of the OpusCapita Business Network Ecosystem. You should be well-versed with automated and manual testing, familiar with some scripting language, and have solid testing expertise. You will be a part of the team developing our core, the messaging platform, delivering a huge number of order messages and electronic invoices from a company to another all around the globe.

We work with local and international teams, so communication and collaboration skills are key skills for our team members. Test automation is a crucial part of the development in enabling us to do frequent releases - although there is still a place for manual testing. In this role, you will be an important actor in ensuring the high quality of our product. Our R&D culture is about agility, continuous learning and improvements, and innovation.

As a Test Engineer your main responsibilities will include:
 

- Be yourself, have fun and bring up your ideas that make us better

- Contribute and participate to feature refinements, creating feature test plans and complete testing

- Building a test strategy for the messaging platform

- Coordinate end-to-end testing activities with people from other teams and functions

- Create test automation to have a solid regression test suite (Robot Framework)
- Ensuring continuous integration tools are in place to produce quality software (Jenkins)
- Assisting service and operations for improving uptime and reducing service incidents

 
WHAT WE WOULD LIKE FROM YOU?

We are looking for candidates who enjoy working in teams and have at least some of the following skills:
 

• Strong software testing experience and a solid understanding of modern software development
• Experience with a testing framework (e.g. RobotFramework, cucumber) and writing automated tests
• Some experience in shell scripting (e.g Bash) and coding (e.g. perl, python, ruby)
• Working knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment tools  (e.g. Jenkins, Git, CircleCI)
• Cloud infrastructure expertise, especially Microsoft Azure

 
To succeed in this role, you also need to have strong verbal and written communication skills in English and the ability to work in a global organization within virtual teams. We are in contact with our international colleagues on a daily basis and English is our official language. You are also expected to solve problems independently and share knowledge with team members and other stakeholders.
