We are looking for a UPS Service Engineer at ABB Oy, Smart Power division. This position can be located in Jyväskylä, Oulu or Tornio, Finland. Our team is responsible for the field service of UPS Systems and EV chargers. You will be working in cooperation with UPS-/EVC sales and build relationships with our local customers. You will also operate as part of our service sales team.This role requires the ability to regularly travel to customer sites mainly in Central and Northern Finland, also at a short notice, to provide the required service.

Your background

B.Sc. or technician in electrical engineering or in power electronics Previous experience in UPS service work is appreciated Previous experience in low voltage distribution installation-/maintenance-/operation work is required Minimum 3 years of engineering or service work experience with industrial companies in Jyväskylä, Oulu or Tornio Electrical qualification certificate S1 or S2 is appreciated MS Office and SAP are familiar tools to you You are willing to travel (approx 80% of working time is with our customers all over Finland) Driver’s license and ability to use your own car You are an independent, responsible, systematic and results-oriented team player Good written and spoken communication skills in Finnish and English
