Are you creative, experienced in statistical modelling and interested in banking risk management?

If yes, we are looking for you, a Risk Analyst, to join our vivid and passionate Credit Risk Models -unit and to work at the heart of banking business. The position is located in Vallila, Helsinki.

RISK ANALYST 

Credit risk management is an essential part of banking business and in this position, you have possibility to develop models and methods for the measurement of credit risk. Credit risk models and methods have several important uses. They are used in pricing and granting of individual credit facilities as well as measurement of portfolio level risk position (capital adequacy, economic capital, ECL).  Additional important use cases of models and methods are different credit risk stress tests and other kind of forward- looking credit risk management.  Hence, working in Credit Risk Models -unit provides you with the unique opportunity to understand the core of banking and credit risk through development of credit risk models.

What we expect from you

You have a minimum of three years of relevant working experience in quantitative credit risk management and/or statistical modelling. You are interested in understanding and analyzing credit risk as a phenomena and development of appropriate models and methods for measuring it. Previous experience in credit risk stress testing and IFRS 9 models are considered an advantage.

You have a Master's degree or a PhD in a relevant technical or business subjects.

You have experience in working with both internal and external stakeholders and you have the patience and proven ability to explain complicated things in an understandable manner. You take responsibility for your work and look for the best possible solution given time and data constraints. Even though you work and prioritize independently, you are also a team player who likes to help others and strives for a common goal.
Your English is fluent both written and spoken.

You will familiarize yourself with different kind of risk models and their use. You will work as Lead Analyst in a modelling project and share your knowledge and ideas with other members of the project team. Further, you will get thorough understanding of and possibility to influence on credit risk measurement and modelling in decision making, portfolio monitoring and management.
