About this opportunity

• Help us in building Level-2 support team for our business-critical digital banking applications
• Involve in Incident Management and Root Cause Analysis of the incidents
• React to the production incidents/problems, involve in Task Force and participate in resolving them for minimizing customer impact
• Collaborate with operations teams and DevOps across different units in One Digital and other Nordea-wide organizations
• Event Management - taking a proactive approach to monitoring metrics and alerts, interpreting them and reacting in a shortest time possible for ensuring service availability and stability
• Contribute building ways of working / knowledge base from operational standpoint that will be utilized over time for faster incident resolution
• If needed, take other responsibilities from Application Management team’s backlog such as IT Compliance and application-related responsibilities as well as application maintenance
• Drive the communication with various stakeholders across different organizations within Nordea regarding your daily tasks

Who you are

• Several years of experience of working with IT operations in linux environment and preferably in application support, incident management for highly critical applications
• Very good knowledge and understanding of monitoring tools such as Splunk, AppDynamics, Prometheus, Sysdig, Grafana, etc. and able to interpret the metrics from these tools
• Hands-on proficiency in Linux/Unix OS is a must
• Good understanding of IT infrastructure and architectures
• Hands-on experience on working with databases
• Experience with some scripting languages such as Groovy, Shell
• Experience with Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
• Experience with hosting/managing applications/services
• Knowledge of container platforms such as Docker Enterprise or similar is a plus
• Some Java programming is a definite plus

• Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in IT field
• Several years of professional experience within areas mentioned above
• Analytical and persistent when working with problems and incidents
• Great interpersonal and collaboration skills
• Fluency in communicating in written and spoken English
